ÜberSpongomorpha lanosa und ihre Sporophytenformen

Zusammenfassung

Nach Untersuchungen an Material von Helgoland besteht ein Generationswechsel zwischenSpongomorpha lanosa als Gametophyt und einem sehr vielgestaltigen einzelligen Sporophyten, der endophytisch in einer ganzen Reihe von Rotalgen lebt und alsChlorochytrium inclusum undCodiolum petrocelidis beschrieben wurde.Jónsson (1959 b) kam, vonChlorochytrium inclusum ausgehend, zu dem gleichen Ergebnis. AusCodiolum petrocelidis von Roscoff (Bretagne) erhielt er dagegenAcrosiphonia spinescens in den Wintermonaten, die Sporophytengeneration im Sommer (1959 a). Dieses unterschiedliche Verhalten ist zunächst nicht zu erklären, es sei denn, daß man eine genetische Verschiedenheit des Materials von Helgoland und Roscoff annimmt.
