On the morphology ofProstomatella arenicola (Hoplonemertini, Monostilifera)

Abstract

From observations carried out in the intertidal sands of the Island of Sylt (North Sea),Prostomatella arenicola Friedrich is a typical inhabitant of this Wadden Sea area. Its morphological characters are redescribed. The life cycle ofP. arenicola appears to be univoltine.
