The genusNephtys (Polychaeta: Phyllodocida) of northern Europe: A review of species, including the description ofN. pulchra sp. n. and a key to the Nephtyidae

Abstract

Twelve species ofNephtys now known from northern Europe are described, including one new species,N. pulchra sp. n. A key is provided to the 14 species of Nephtyidae, from the region. Geographic changes in the setiger in which interramal cirri first occur are recognized inN. caeca (Fabricius),N. ciliata (Müller),N. hombergii Savigny andN. pente Rainer.
