Changes in biodiversity. Number of species (log scale) that became a newly introduced (white), and b entirely extinct (black), regionally or temporally extinct (dark grey) or threatened (light grey) in the Wadden Sea. Data are presented for marine mammals (Mam), birds (Bird), fish (Fish), invertebrates (Inv), seaweeds (Seaw), seagrasses (Seagr) and phytoplankton (Phyt).
