Juvenile settlement enhanced through changing hydrodynamics. Within artificial tube aggregations, densities are followed up during four spring low water tides both in areas were sedimentation occurred (square) and in areas without sedimentation (circle). Sedimentation zones enhance the settlement of juvenile Lanice conchilega significantly shortly after sedimentation. This pattern was consistent as not all plots were placed at the same spring tide. This settlement enhancement was not sustained for a longer period of time as no real adult tubes to attach on were present in the artificial tube plots
