Coverage of Nephrops norvegicus samples collected by the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute (AFBI) in the western Irish Sea from 1994 to 2016 and the Centre of Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science (CEFAS) in the Farn Deeps region of the North Sea from 1998 to 2017 (y = number of females ≥ 10 mm CL). Samples collected in March or April were combined as “spring” samples while September and October samples were combined as “autumn” samples. Most samples were collected by AFBI during the summer months (July or August), those were analysed as “summer” samples
